Shipping and Handling Fees are non-refundable.
Products in stock are shipped within 2-3
business days of orders placed. Some items are drop-shipped
directly from manufactures, special order items or custom
boots can take
approximately 2 - 12 weeks on average for delivery. Shipping
rates apply to single customer order purchases only. If ordering
multiple skate packages, surcharges will apply for large volume
purchase based upon parcel weight , parcel size, and destination, and
additional insurance fees.
LARGE / VOLUME
ORDERS: Large Volume orders, such as
Club/Group/Combined customer orders of multiple sets of skates, or
blades, etc., are subject to shipping surcharges. Customer
will be invoiced for actual shipping fees based upon order weight,
parcel size and destination, and additional insurance fees.
INTERNATIONAL
SHIPPING: International
shipping outside of the US is available, but is done so on
individual order basis. Customers will be invoiced/ billed
applicable
additional fees for international shipping and handling before order is
processed or
shipped, within in 4-7 days of purchase. You are required to
complete balance payments within 4-7 days of receipt of notice. Failure
to respond or complete balance shipping payment will result in
immediate cancellation of your order, purchase price & any
applicable shipping fees will be subsequently refunded to you in the
manner in which you pad for your original order.
Call
or write for estimated rates prior to ordering. Any
applicable Customs or Import Duties, at port of entry to
the
customer country, or additional country imposed taxes ARE the
responsibility of the customer. All parcels are shipped insured for full
value, with tracking.
We do not send
un-insured parcels, nor do
we de-value items or note as "gift" for customs purposes. Other
shipping options, such as Express services are
also available at additional cost. Please call for rates.

have additional charges for 1/2 sizes, special bolt spacing or slot
direction, other special criteria, etc. please contact 'the skate
shop' for further information on applicable charges.
CUSTOM
BOOT MOLDING FEE: $75.00 USD.
All Custom Boot Orders require foot molding be done through 'the SkateNow
shop'. For quality assurance we do not accept others molding or
self-moldings at this time. Our process is a precision full-foot
embedment casting with built-in orthodic,
not sock type casting, which takes into consideration bio-mechanics of
the foot and ankle, as well as the skaters individual ergonomics.
We cannot be responsible for accuracy of
the boot fit if
the mold is provided by elsewhere, unless approved arrangements are
made in
advance. We can mold for
other companies, beyond those products we currently represent, but
please check in advance
if they will accept our molds. Some boot manufactures prefer to
use their own molding processes, which may differ from our
process. We cannot guarantee the results of boots made from
manufactures that we do not represent.
Shipping of Molds is not included in molding fee, and varies.
Custom Molding fees are non-refundable. 'the SkateNow shop' works
directly
with each boot manufacture we represent on your behalf to ensure that
your boot is
made to your specifications. If there are any unforeseen problems
with your boot, we will work with you and the manufacture to correct
those problems to your satisfaction and/or, if deemed necessary,
rebuild the boot to your original specifications. custom boots
are non-refundable and full payment is required up front. Please
allow 8-12 weeks for custom boots. Please
contact 'the SkateNow shop' for more detailed information on
custom
boot polices and arranging your custom molding session.

PAYMENT POLICIES: ’the
SkateNow shop' accepts the following types of payments:
Major Credit
Cards (master card, visa, american express & discover), PayPal,
Money Orders, Cash, or Personal Check. Please note: Personal checks or
e-checks are subject to standard 7-10 day transaction clearance period
prior to your order processing/shipping. Once cleared, your order will
process and ship.
A $25 fee applies on all NSF or returned checks. No products will
ship without payment.

RETURN POLICIES: ’the
SkateNow shop' recognizes the occasional problem of ordering a wrong
size
product,
or skate that does not fit correctly. We make every effort to
work
directly with the customer to ensure you receive the correct sizes
needed
for skates and accessory products you order. We allow sizing
exchanges
as necessary, at an additional fee of $12.00 under the following
conditions:
the product/products exchanged are in new, and unused original
condition
with
original packaging (if applicable), and include all original parts
&
accessories,(laces, hardware, etc.,) clothing & clothing accessory
items must have tags on garment, where applicable, and the
product is exchanged within 30 days from
date
of purchase. SkateNow reserves the right, on occasion, to waive the
extra shipping fees on exchange items. Products returned without
all original parts or accessories will be subject to have retail
replacement costs for those items deducted from your total refund
amount accordingly. Customer is requested to check
all products upon immediate receipt to ensure all manufactures parts
and accessories have been included. Note: axles, skate tools, bolts,
nuts screws, and laces are not always included with certain
manufactures items and are available at extra costs. Special
order, custom boots, most close-out items, and consignment shop items
cannot be
returned or exchanged. Contact the skate shop to request a size
exchange on stock
products. Cancellation of orders must be received in writing or
phone call within 3 business days of purchase. Products returned after
30 days
will receive store
credit.
- Returned
stock items must be received within 30 days of purchase. Please
contact 'the SkateNow shop' to get return authorization number
(RA#)
prior to returning stock items.
- Stock items
must be returned in their original new/un-used condition with original
packaging or box (if applicable), and include all original parts
&
accessories,(laces, hardware, etc.,), and clothing and/or clothing
accessory items must have tags on garment, where applicable.
- Custom Boots
are not returnable, unless expressly warranted under manufacturers
individual product warranty. We will make every effort to assure your
custom boots made the way you requested with the manufacturer. However
we cannot be responsible for manufacturer defects, etc. In event your
custom boots are defective in any way, we will work with the
manufacturer to re-design, correct the problem, or re-build the boot to
your original specifications.
- Most
“close-out” items cannot be returned. Most close-out items may be
exchanged for store credit. Contact ‘the SkateNow shop’
for more details.
- Merchandise
should still be in "new" and "un-used" condition upon return. Boots may
not be
mounted, and must be returned with all parts, including hardware and
laces. Parts not returned with boots (or any other goods) shall be
deducted at full retail value from your refund.
- Restocking
fee will apply (stock items returned after 30 days, etc...)
- Manufacturer's
warranties apply to all new merchandise. After 30 days from date
of purchase, customer is deferred to manufacture for any warranty
issues.
- Shipping and
Handling Fees
are non-refundable. No exceptions.
- Consignment/Used
items are non-refundable nor returnable to 'the SkateNow shop'.

FOOT TRACING & MEASUREMENTS:
|
Manufacturer's sizing
charts vary as does the fit of the skates, so it is best to get an
accurate measurement of the feet
to then select proper size. Verify sizing, before
ordering boots, as not to have to exchange due to wrong
size. This
will save much time and any extra shipping fees on
returns. For
this reason, we request a foot
tracing and linear measure
of
your feet to properly size you for skates.
Tracing: It is best
to enlist a second person to trace you feet, taking care not to
undercut or go out past the foot perimeter.
Linear foot
measurement: Start by standing barefoot with heels against the
wall.
Using the wall, at the back of the foot where the heels touch, as
a
reference point, measure out to the longest toe on each
foot. Provide
the measurement in mm or cm if possible.
