Ice speedskarting charts, a tool that will help you appreciate and track long distance races.
A) At the start of the race, after the first pass of the finish line, a skater will have an "opening time". Put a dot on the time under the first column of the chart that best represents the skater's time. Each column from left to right represents each lap of the race.
B) After each lap the split time will be announced, place a dot for that time under the next column then connect the dots to chart the progress. Repeat this step for each lap until the end of the race.
C) After a few laps you will be able to tell if your favorite skater is keeping up with the World record (WR line has been provided for ease of comparison) or with the time of any other skater you have plotted earlier in the same chart.
